Any Chance In Hell Khalil Mack Drops to #23?
Jesus. This guy looks like the OLB version of Derrick Johnson (when he tries hard at the pro bowl).
He FLIES to the ball. His acceleration is insane. He has just the right amount of nasty. He loves contact. This guy is going to be a mother****in' stud. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/SmMZ6gJeoMI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Zero. Even if he slid to the 20s the Packers would take him ahead of us. The Patriots would probably trade up if he slid into the teens. You think he gets by Pitt, Balt, NYJ, Phili, Dallas, and GB.

I think Mack falls to us if he tanks at the Combine.
Unfortunately, he looks like he is going to blow shit up at the Combine. There's a chance he falls to us, but it's only a chance. He's a bit undersized, and he played largely shit competition -- but he blew up great competition the few times he faced it. |
Only way we are getting Mack is if we trade into the top 10. Not happening.

Tell me what I'm missing with this guy. I don't see a guy who's absolutely killing it, but that's just going off some of the game highlights. I didn't see any Buffalo games this year.
He doesn't look overly fast and seemed to get washed out a lot on plays. |
I feel the same way. I think he's got a ton of talent, but I'm not blown away by him like I am my Top 10 prospects.
If he tanks the Combine, I can definitely see him being around our pick. He does seem like a better fit as a 4-3 OLB in a Von Miller type role than he does as a rushbacker in the 3-4. Then again, there are reports right now that the Texans are considering him at 1.1, so what do I know. |

A #1 overall from Central Michigan followed by a #1 overall from Buffalo in back to back years. |
At this point I'm betting 1.1 is going to be from Central Florida.

Ya this guy doesn't even look like a first round talent to me.
