You Guys.... Josh Huff....
I just watched a few of his tapes (as I documented in the "Visit" thread), and I'm in love with this dude. He needs his own thread.
Seriously. What's a knock on him? I don't see a single thing I don't like. This would be a solid, solid pick in the 3rd. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/AjuWUUhzZCU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/k_l2zP0yNrw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/6-cr4TMfooA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I think he is a perfect fit for Reid.

Any knocks on him aren't that serious -- he's a tremendous talent.
The only knock on him is that there's a handful of WRs in this draft with that exact same skillset -- smaller guys who are fast as blazes with good hands and some serious moves. T.J. Jones in particular is the same exact player. Robert Herron and Jeff Janis are small program guys with the same skillset. Michael Campanaro, for a poorer man's version. It's a really good year for WRs. |

Jones has good wheels, but its hard to tell much else from the ND vs. Temple game I watched. His quarterback sucks royal cock, so maybe that soured my judgement. I like Huff a lot more. Herron hits the gas hard as well. I watched his Wy. vs. Texas game from 2012... looked like he ran some pretty lazy routes and wasn't always open. Awesome break away speed, though. Janis is white, and from Saginaw Valley State (?)... his highlight video had Linkin Park. **** Jeff Janis. I appreciate the comparisons, but none top Huff IMO. |

I just watched his LSU vs. TCU game, and a few notes: - Holy ****ing shit is he fast. Is he the fastest guy coming out? Gotta be up there with Watkins. If he was our return man, he would be good for 4-5 TD's with the way we block and set up big gains. - LSU - yucky. They're just.... lazy, man. - He threw a first down signal, when he was like, 5 yards short. Very Bowe-ish of him. - He had 2 drops, one on wide open bomb. Kinda lost focus. Very Bowe-ish. - Had some pretty tough catches as well. Very Bowe-ish. His speed alone makes him an amazing prospect. I'd take him ahead of Huff. Would love to have him. Beckham will be gone by our 3rd rounder though probably. Edit: Just watched his game LSU vs. UAB. He ended up with 4, should have had 6 TD's. If he is a Chief, we will break the TD Return record. Again - he will be gone by the 3rd round pick, and Huff might not be. |
No thanks. Not in those nancy boy trousers. Oregonian epicene... Pffftttt...metrosexual duck. Do not want. :D

Dumb. |
He's a slot receiver.

I'm not saying he is similar to bowe at all in terms of play or usage.
Just couldn't overlook the LSU, the few drops in that game, and also some insane grabs he made. Those just made me chuckle and think of bowe. Especially the false first down. |
