NFL at it's highest competitive level... ever?

I was just pondering this as I looked deeper into our schedule, and the whole NFL as well... and wow. It's pretty incredible but I can honestly say there isn't one game on our schedule I couldn't see us winning or losing. And the more games I examined, I realized there aren't many games in the league at all that aren't like that. I know they say 'any given Sunday'... but is the old saying any more true than it is now? Every team has studs. Even Jacksonville has some defense, and our pals in Oakland got some bigger names (though old). Coaching may truly be the difference maker these days. Gotta love the NFL.

He feels like Alex should have voted for him in the n00b of the year competition. Also, he feels that Alex should include him in the top 101 posters on CP.

He also thinks that Alex should hate Sorter.

There's a slight possibility that he will stop by and let us know, after he mentions his opinion about Mr. Smith in other football-related threads, such as discussions about the most recent X-men movie, or what people ate for dinner last night, or possible repair solutions for a malfunctioning appliance, or other serious football threads.

Now I feel bad for derailing this dudes thread.

Lots of parity in the league nowadays, bud. Makes for entertaining tv.

The NFL is the light lager of sports... watered down for mass consumption and profit, and you can't tell one from another, but a lot of people seem to like it anyway.

The NHL playoffs (the craft beer of sports) just blows it away, IMO... the worst thing they could do is over expand and cater to the casual fan like the NFL.

What's crazy is how fast the NFC West flipped and became good.

Well I mean SF has had most of their pieces for years. They just didn't have a coach. Seahawks took 3 years to build.
Rams benefitted from raping the Skins in the draft and Arizona had some nice talent for awhile.

NFL has always and always will be a coach/quarterback dominated sport.
