Something to think about when 'learning' online
 
I'm putting this in the media center, partially because it is video based in part, partially because I don't want to clutter the main forum but still found it interesting.

Powerful Hoodoo, Huh. Those guys found an improbable but mathematically sound insight into the nature of infinity.

Only they didn't and I knew intuitively and by recollection of what this probably reflects.

So basically in manipulating a supposedly infinite summation of integers, they inextricably tied it to a characteristic of a summation of integers from NEGATIVE infinity to positive infinity.

So don't let professional presentation and credentials lull you even on matters of 'science.' This as particularly simple and dunderheaded mistake, presented confidently and a bit of back patting.
