Game 4 Meetup in Phoenix for Royals fans.
 

Been in convo with a couple of the board members and based on our locations for Saturday night and where people live, we think 5 pm at Diamonds Sports Grille in Mesa for Game 4. Edave said owner is NWMSU Grad so probably other Royals fans there too.

In attendance, Me and Mrs. Lewdog. Why Not and Mrs. Why Not.

Edave committed yesterday but he might have been drunk, so I'll take a sober clarification.

I am in North Phoenix so I doubt I'll make the trek. Maybe if I get together with the Mesa lady friend Saturday. Odds are I'll be killing the few Boulevard brews I have at the house but we shall see.

Dude has a NWMS helmet to behind glass to prove it. Place is so-so if you live in Mesa. The building was built for "Harry & Steve's" (Harry Caray & Steve Stone) when Fitch Park was located nearby. Those guys were often seen at the bar with fans during spring training.

At one time a raucous good time for Chief fans during the Trent Green days. After a few seasons in the side room "reserved" for Chief fans, Packer fans approached the owner over the summer and promised warm bodies pieholing sauerkraut and drinking 1.2 beers per person en mass. So, we show up game one next season and find out he sold out... giving them priority.

Sober eDave has yet to signal his plans in sober state. Could be another date for Why Not and I. I'm cool with that though.

Dude mesa is so bfe if you're north. Hard to make the trek, enjoy properly then navigate all the way back. Having said so, go Royals...

Little bad news fellas, our sitter crapped out on us and our back up can't make it until 630 so we will absolutely be there but starting at about the 5th or 6th inning.

Well I don't have great news either. Woke up with super sore throat this morning but cancellation policy for the ranch we are going to is 48 hours so we can't back out now. Still gonna be out there but I hope I'm feeling better by tomorrow night. I'll still be there though.
