Crow's Mock 10/23

Round 1

WR DeVante Parker - Louisville (6'3" 211)

Rare combination of size, agility, and speed. Can catch the ball and make big-time plays. This is the type of dynamic, true number one, receiver KC lacks.

Round 2

CB Alex Carter - Stanford (6'0" 200) ~ Junior, assuming declaration

Relatively long, athletic corner that fits what Bob Sutton likes in defensive backs. Comes from a relatively good program for producing NFL ready players.

Round 3

LB Jake Ryan - Michigan (6'3" 235)

Finally appearing back to full speed, Ryan is like a launched missile. He can make plays all over the field, but is especially good attacking downhill.

Round 3 (Assuming Compensatory Selection for Branden Albert)

OT Sean Hickey - Syracuse (6'5" 300)

A devastating blocker in every facet. Appears to have what it takes to consistently finish plays at the next level. While a great collegiate tackle, he doesn't appear to have the feet to make the successful transition in the pros, but might be solid right tackle. His best spot might be at guard, where he could turn into an All-Pro.

Round 4

OG Jarvis Harrison - Texas A&M (6'3" 325)

A devastating run blocker with a dump truck body. Holds his own in pass pro. Very much the type of guard that this regime likes.

Round 5

FS Adrian Amos - Penn State (6'0" 209)

A ballhawk with size and speed, looks to be perfect in a single-high scheme. A very reliable tackler that can also make a stick. The best safety nobody is talking about.

Round 5 (Assuming Compensatory Selection for Tysyn Jackson)

WR Rannell Hall - Central Florida (6'1" 200)

Speed to burn and sure hands. Needs some refinement, but has been a playmaker. If not for his serious decrease in production after Bortles left, he might go much higher. Also a special teams ace as a returner.

Round 5 (Assuming Compensatory Selection for Jon Asamoah)

DE Anthony Chickillo - Miami (6'4" 277)

A high motor player with a knack for disrupting the backfield. Can get to the quarterback. Looks like a nice guy to develop as a 5-tech with added weight.

Round 6

WR Tre McBride - William & Mary (6'1" 205)

Another receiver with a great combination of size, speed, and hands. A great point to take a chance on a very good small school prospect.

Round 7

RB Travon Van - Montana (5'10" 195)

A transfer from Marshall, Van is an electric runner in the mold of Jamaal Charles. Van can change directions on a dime and take it to the house from anywhere on the field.

Round 7 (Assuming Compensatory Selection for Quinten Demps)

TE Nick Boyle - Delaware (6'5" 270)

Another small school prospect with good measurables and solid statistics. Boyle moves well on the field and is a very solid blocker. Not only that, he had 42 reception a year ago with 7 of them for TDs and has another 20 with 3 TDs already this year.

I don't hate it so much, since there's a lot of seemingly "coachable" talent there, but I feel like you could have done a lot more to shore up the positions of serious need here.

Haven't heard of a few of these players. Will have to look them up...

Love me some Parker. He has some serious talent.
