Stock down:

Quarterbacks: If your team needs a quarterback in next year's draft, look out. Obviously a quarterback or two could get hot and become a real player by the end of the season, but right now there seems to be few franchise quarterbacks in the class. That's because several quarterbacks – like UCLA's Brett Hundley, Oregon State's Sean Mannion, Baylor's Bryce Petty – haven't taken that next step this season and no players have emerged from obscurity. It doesn't help that a players like BYU's Taysom Hill and Utah State's Chuckie Keeton have been torpedoed by injuries. We could be in for another year like 2011, when signal callers were grossly overdrafted out of necessity.
Connor Cook is probably heading back to Michigan State for his senior year, too.

The QB1 club will still manage to convince itself that there are at least 6 "Franchise QBs" in this draft that the Chiefs should take.

Yeah while over drafted bums like EJ, geno, ponder, Gabbert, etc continue their fall to crap

If we just take any of the available qbs in the first were pretty much guaranteed a Super Bowl victory. A R1QB is the only way!

Hundley has definitely fallen off my list for 1st round consideration.

Right now Mariota is the only one on the list there. Garrett Grayson is making me reconsider his rank, definitely ascending with a rather good Senior season and I like the way he throws the football and makes read progressions.

Admittedly I may be biased, but IMO, Hundley would be a nice late 3-4th round developmental QB.

10-1 odds he'd beat out Bray.

If you want Hundley you might as well go out a sign Terrell Pryor. Same QB except Pryor is a bit faster and has real NFL experience.

He hasn't played well this year and was much better last year. He's said its because he was too focused on the NFL and didn't have his head in the game.

Uh . . .

NFL.com media analyst Charles Davis said that the question of whether UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley should declare for the draft is "worth serious consideration."
Hundley recently made waves by saying that the pressure of impressing draft scouts was weighing on his mind and might have affected his player earlier in the season. Davis speculated that part of Hundley's issues might have stemmed from his fear of being labeled as a "running quarterback." Davis then brought up the example of Geno Smith, saying that "when [Smith] was entering the NFL in 2013...he firmly believed he could best beat defenses from the pocket with his arm and mind" and wanted to prove he didn't rely solely on his legs for success. We just don't see him coming back for his senior year, though. At this point, it's still almost a certainty that this will be Hundley's last season with the Bruins. Nov 5 - 6:04 PM

UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley admitted to altering his play early in the season "because of pressure to improve as a passer" for NFL evaluators.
In the win against Arizona, Hundley decided to drop his eyes even more frequently and leave the pocket quickly to pick up yards with his feet. Earlier in the season he would attempt to handle pressure in the pocket and find receivers open downfield. Consistently dropping your eyes and picking up yards on the ground works at the college level, but in order for a quarterback to sustain success in the NFL, they must win from the pocket against pressure. Hundley has not shown this on a week to week basis. Nov 3 - 10:22 AM
Quote:

UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley completed 19 of 26 attempts for 189 yards and one touchdown in the school's 17-7 win over Arizona.
Hundley did most of his damage on the ground, rushing for 131 yards on 24 carries. In fact, the quarterback commented that he was too focused on winning from the pocket early in the season to improve his NFL evaluation. That did not work, so now he has reverted back to picking up yards with his feet. In many cases, it can be a positive at the college level. But for his development in terms of eye level against pressure, it will not help. Nov 2 - 9:45 AM
For some reason, that doesn't exactly inspire confidence in anyone that Hundley can play QB at a high level in the NFL.

Hundley has absolutely no feel for the pocket. All the tools besides instincts.

Guy will make a good coach or a sales guy for an electronics company.

Drafting Hundley in any round is a waste of a pick, IMO.

If you want to see the best and worst of Hundley, go watch the UCLA/Utah game this season. Decide for yourself.

That's not the guy I saw in 2013.

Regardless, unlike you, who has every Mormon on the planet in your mock drafts, I freely admitted that I might be "biased".

Joseph Smith found God's playbook with the golden plates. Mormons are a lock for the hall of fame, they're the only logical pick for a competent GM
