Man, Vin Scully is just fun to listen to as an announcer.

Maybe the Royals announcers could take some lessons?

He's the best. I feel privileged just to watch the games.

Denny Matthews calls a great game.

Listen to a lot a baseball on the xm. He's definitely the best. I enjoy listening to Bob Uecker a lot as well. There are a lot of bad ones out there. The San Diego guy is awful. His voice is so annoying to listen to.

Matthews used to be one of the best, but he hasn't aged well from what I'm reading here.

Vin Scully is still pretty good, but he isn't the same as he was 10 years ago and longer.

He was easily the best there was.

I'm going to miss him when he hangs it up.

Yes, I'm an O's fan, but I really enjoy Gary Thorne. I think he's one of the best out there as well

I hate the O's but agree with the Thorne comment. He's great.

Oh brother old Vin telling fibs of years gone by. And Cool Papa Bell could hit the light switch and be in bed befor the lights went out. ;)

Maybe old Whitey can tell us some crying and whining tails of 1985 and game 6. He has done it nonstop for about 30 years now.

I understand about Scully. Listened to a few games and is easily tops in broadcasting history.

He just sounded like Rob Lowe from parks and recreation. Took a little pause between every syllable. It got really annoying after awhile
