Reading your post makes me cringe. It's not anything personal that's specific to you, but I've always thought that it was a monumental achievement in marketing to consider that you call anything other than an adjunct lager "weird beer".

There are hundreds of different types of ales or lagers that are all considered beers. And I think it's a shame that we took one of the more flavorless and bland varieties and made it the torch bearer.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a beer geek, but I'm no beer snob. I'm not a big fan of adjunct lagers, but if it's a hot day and I'm thirsty, I'll still drink one.
