KCSP World Series Win Radio Call(?)

So, when it was clear the Royals were going to win their first championship in 30 seasons, I went online to listen to the Royals radio call. As soon as Davis threw what would be the final pitch of the game, Ryan Lefebvre yelled "STRIKE THREE CALLED!!" and immediately the stream when to an O'reilly's commercial. Was this anyone else's experience?

Does someone have Rino's complete clinch call?

Yeah, that was the ONE MOMENT I wanted to hear on Royals play-by-play....that one moment.

I'm hoping it was some kind of automated computer issue.

I'd rather hear the call of Hosmer's score. By the time of the Davis K, all of the drama was gone. Everyone knew as soon as we took the lead because Davis is such a lockdown stud.

They replayed the hoz score and the ws call quite a bit on 610 radio yesterday

True, but I had never hear Rino utter the phrase "the Royals have won the world series" before.

Sometimes the online stream doesn't work properly for games. Might be getting blocked based on where you are due to MLBV rules. I can never get the live call when I try, you might have been able to get a snippet before it cut you off. Dunno.

After listening to it, I gotta tell you IMO the call left a lot to be desired. I get it was 7-2 and anti-climatic at that point, but it wasn't a memorable call. I don't know who the guy on WHB was that they kept replaying the call from, but I preferred that one...

It's at 7:54 in Archie's vid, for those who might be interested.

Uhh, well after listening to Buster Olney's podcast, he tried to play the Royals radio call and apparently the clip they had also got cut off by commercial. Looks like someone on the Royals radio network did **** up...

810 put montage together of the ESPN broadcast throughout the playoffs and it's pretty great.

I made some of the important spots and put them in the repository thread.

I've watched this a few times now and it has me tearing up every time. Especially when Colon knocks in Dyson.

That play defines our team so much. A guy who hadn't seen the field in a month steps in and singles home the winning run. It worked because of course it ****ing worked. Why wouldn't it?

Christian Colon. 2 postseason ABs in his life, 2 hits, 2 RBIs, 2 runs scored.
