As a child, the Raiders were my first real exposure to cheating and dirty play. Before I started watching Chiefs/Raiders games, I didn't really know about cheating and dirty play other than this kid in first grade who would trash talk me in kickball. His name was Larry and he finally shut up one day when he got hit by a car. The Raiders finally shut up when Big Al went crazy and they stopped getting good football players, which is kind of the NFL equivalent of getting hit by a car.

I don't think this game is meaningless at all, because I really want the #5 seed. But even if was completely meaningless and both teams had no reason to play, I would still want to beat the Raiders 223-0.

What the ****.. ROFL

Life taught Larry a lesson, and it also gave me my first-ever pun opportunity about car-ma. No one trash talked me about that.

I have found through extensive study that those Chiefs fans over 50 hate the Raiders the most, while those under 40 hate the Broncos more. In between is a toss-up.

Keep in mind this is not as scientific as one of Rainman's polls, but still pertinent data nonetheless.

I never thought it possible to hate a team more than the Raiders, but the last couple of decades have tilted it toward the Broncos due to rampant cheating and dirty play. In contrast, the Raiders have pretty much been big floppy shoes and spraying bottles of seltzer.

However, it wouldn't take much to tilt it back toward the Raiders, and for the most part I think your theory is very strong.

I miss those old days where there was going to be bench clearing brawls every time they played. And I too have been forced to shift my hate to the Broncos. I guess I just don't have any respect for cheaters.

Just like the Talib eye gouge. Typical fashion. Could never envision a Chief doing that.

Raiders are stupid stupid people.

Raiders are my most hated team but Broncos a close second.

When the Chiefs and Raiders were competing for the Western Conference of the AFL in the 60s, games between them were classic battles between good and evil.

Hate the Raiders, but football is at it's best when the Raiders and Chiefs are battling for division supremacy.
