Aka, what fans of every other team say about Chiefs receivers not named Maclin.

A Rod Streater signing isn't going to excite anyone, but if he can return to 2013 form, the Chiefs would have the bonafide No. 2 they so desperately need. He's got great size and the guy can flat out fly. Though, if I had my druthers, I'd be kicking the tires on Boldin.

Im not sure he can return to 2013 form. He hasnt really played since his injury he could have very well lost a step. Hope hes healthy and still fast, would be a good signing if he checks out. (I wanted him last year on a 1 year prove it deal)

Well he's still young. Surely an ankle injury wouldn't **** him up at 28?

nychief 03-12-2016 10:32 AM

One year deal, wouldn't be the worst.

Sandy Vagina 03-12-2016 10:33 AM

The size and speed is nice, but can dude stay healthy? Looks like he's been healthy for a minimum amount the last two seasons. Showed some promise in his first two years. If they feel he can quickly contribute something, and won't cost much.. sure.. what the hell.

Think I'd prefer Kerley, but so long as Conley steps it up.. it's whatever.

Micjones 03-12-2016 10:36 AM

If memory serves, he was healthy last year.
A coaching decision kept him out of the lineup.

Guess that's what I get for only checking stats.. and well.. not being a Raiders fan. :p

Looks like you got it right...

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent WR Rod Streater is visiting the Chiefs Saturday.

He was linked with the Kansas City earlier this week. The Chiefs need quality depth at receiver, and Streater looked liked a promising possession guy before spending most of 2015 as a healthy scratch. He has also visited the Patriots and Jets.

TigeRRUppeRRcut 03-12-2016 10:43 AM

He had a year to recuperate behind Cooper and Crabtree. Can cut him after one year... Low risk, medium reward

the Talking Can 03-12-2016 10:52 AM

you should always have a couple of lottery tickets on the roster going into camp, no harm in signing him

MahiMike 03-12-2016 10:53 AM

Oh man! I remember the streaker fad. This will be fun.

This would be a Royals-esque signing. And, more recently, would be a Chiefs-esque signing.

If he works out, boom. If not, oh well, on to the next one.
