Are there any hidden gems in regards to restaurant dives or town squares around the lake?

I haven't been there in about 20 years, and the last I remembered it, it was pretty much just a college party lake surrounded by rundown cabins...

Is that still the case?

The wife asked made mentioned of going up there...and I didn't think it would be worth the hour drive for us.

There's a cafe by the nation's, but that's about it

whats the nations? And is the Café decent at least...?

I have not been there in over 20 years but what I remember was it was a wind blown bastard and the campground had 0 trees for shade.

Only thing I know of near there is a small biker joint called Hog Holler Saloon. Usually have live music on the weekends i believe. Only eaten there once and it was so so. I hear they have a decent seafood buffet on Friday nights I think.

My hopes for Bray are that he's the new 0DD T0dd.

Beasts out in the preseason, hangs around as a respectable b/u for years, treats fans like $#it during camp, gets drunk and KO's a bouncer or two.
