Rams sign Austin to 4yr extension worth $42 million

The Los Angeles Rams have locked up wide receiver to a four-year contract extension, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Per Rapoport, the deal is worth $42 million with $30 million in guarantees. Austin is now under contract for six years.

$10 million per for a guy who's best season was 53 catches for 473 yards and 5 TD's?

The guy has 9 TD's total in three years.

No wonder the Rams have sucked for more than a decade.

Pick in the top 10 and has amounted to nothing so far. Way to much money.

The Rams have won 7 games in 3 of the last 4 seasons, with 6 wins 2 years ago.
You just can't match that kind of consistency.

Gotta reward the players who have contributed to that consistency.

They've already extended the coach.
