A central Pennsylvania man is accused of having sexual intercourse with a miniature horse.

According to a release from Ephrata Police, 21-year-old Travis L. Wagner is charged with burglary and sexual intercourse with an animal.

On Aug. 16, police were called to Indiantown Road in West Cocalico Township. Witnesses said they saw a man park near a barn, enter the structure for a short time and leave. Police were given the suspect’s license plate number.

When police made contact with Wagner, he admitted that he had entered the barn for the purpose of engaging in sexual intercourse with a miniature horse that lived inside.

He was arraigned on Aug. 29 before Magisterial District Judge Nancy Hammil, where he was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

The Burglary charge carries a maximum penalty of not more than 10 years in prison, and the Sexual Intercourse with Animal charge carries a maximum sentence of not more than two years in prison.

I don't know why but the sentence about entering a barn where a miniature horse "lived" cracks me up. I had a vision of this horse having a house like set up in the barn.

I suppose technically the horse "lives" there but seems like an odd statement.

Burglary is defined as "enters unlawfully or remains unlawfully" in or upon a building or inhabitable structure.

So with that in mind, the man should be charged with 2 counts of burglary! :LOL:
