Lucky to be 2-2
 

Kinda stating the obvious here, but given how lackluster our play has been, winning 2 games is akin to being a miracle. The D was obviously stellar vs the Jets, but beyond that, their play has been below par -- not entirely unexpected given our youth at corners. DL play has been spotty, as has LB play.

Offensively, OL has played like shit, runners have fumbled and WRs have dropped several balls. Top this off with a QB that is playing pretty much at bottom of league level, and one wonders how we even won 2 games!

Kinda tells me that we do have some talent on this team as teams with lesser talent would not have won 2.

That said, unless this team shores itself up on serval fronts, this is going to be a very underwhelming season. And, as usual in football, it all kinda starts with the QB. Alex has gotta up his game....and hopefully that'll carryover to the rest of the team as well.

Just siting here watching college football, and was spurred to share this most obvious reflection.

We are a healthy Keenan Allen away from being 1-3 with our division opponents being 4-0, 4-0, and 3-1.

First year watching the NFL? Alot of teams have lucky wins. Look what happened in pile high week 1 and in zona. Both teams got lucky on missed kicks by guys that don't miss.

But they aren't and if we had Houston things are different anyway.

Last I checked, Houston doesn't play on offense.

So no. Things wouldn't be different.

That's mule tool level fail. So yeah his presence causing more Rivers and Brock pant shitting would have made a difference.

Everyone thinks we killed Jets. We only had 1 offensive TD that game. Back to being frauds again.

Oh he's a comin out after the Faid game no doubt. Just isn't ready yet. Needs souls to consume first.

Yeah we won that one Denver style.

Actually it makes it difficult for the O to score when the D does it beforehand. Plus, the Ware fumble at the pylon also corrupted offensive performance too. Odd game, so I sorta consider offensive stats in that one as an outlier.

I used to think this place had a higher than average level of football talk but more and more there are threads like this.

No much going on a the site today, so I thought I'd share a reflection or two.

I was watching the PSU vs Maryland game earlier (awesome game if a PSU fan) and was amazed how bad they make the Chiefs offense look. There's really no excuse the level of offense we have to watch from this shit show.</br></br> Quit playing scared already!!! ****ing pussies!!! :mad:
