Opinions on Sleep Number beds
I'm looking into possibly getting one over the next 2 months. My bed now is awful and I need to upgrade.
Does anyone have one? Does the bed sleep warm? I'm looking for a mattress that won't hold heat like it's Disney World in July. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! |
I use a queen size air mattress and I think it's comfy only paid like 57 or something like that. It's good enough for me and I'm not spending a bundle on a new bed and not getting nasty bed bugs for a used one either.

I like mine, but any foam top mattress is going to hold some heat.

Love mine.

My wife and I grabbed one 4 years ago, and I've really liked it. The big benefit is that we can adjust our sides separately. But aside from that, I don't think it's abnormally hot.

I have a king size one. It was free otherwise I'd have never paid for it. I don't really know what you mean about sleeping hot, but it is the best bed I've ever owned.

Love mine. Wife and I have the king, so separate controls. Doesn't sleep hot.

I've always felt they were so over priced.
I slept on a queen extra firm Sealy mattress that I paid around $300 for about 10 years ago. I have a very heavy Indonesian Rosewood slat bed. The mattress had a 10 year warranty and I recently got rid of it when I moved into the office. I never felt hot with it and I am VERY heat sensitive |
We have the king and got it about 7 years ago. I was having problems waking up with lower back pain and once I found my number, problem solved.
We paid roughly 3k for ours. It was a middle tier that was on sale. I should note that when we first bought our king bed, the original mattress we purchased was 2700, so for the price, it was worth it. If you're worried about it sleeping hot, there is one model they have that has the gel in the mattress that disperses the heat. For me, I just need a pillow for that. The only thing that has needed service thus far is the wireless remote that runs the pump, the LCD display went out. No biggie. |
