I think Foles would be a great fit for the Steelers. I don't know how long Rapeburger is going to be out though.

If the Chiefs do trade Foles, it should be during next year's training camp, when they're not required to be Cap Compliant and another team is desperate.

Loves the head coach

Proven production as a starter

Brings a different skillset than the starter, defenses would have to adjust

Should anything happen to Smith, its hard to imagine anyone better stepping in to keep the train rolling

I get that many here think that the Chiefs are only interested in being just good enough to sell seats - and maybe that's true for Hunt, but I guarantee you, Reid believes he is competing for a super bowl and he thinks he has the QB to get him there. Reid was angling for Smith even at the absolute lowest point of Smith's career.

It could be worth it if his value gets high enough. But we are in the midst of a playoff season , most likely...at least looking at wild card possibilities MAYBE division if Denver can't pull it together.

Problem is , we don't play Denver till the back 30% of the season....we play them twice in last 6 weeks. So unless the value is insanely high and some team gets desperate, I don't think we do this. Maybe if we lose a few in a row...
