Trade Foles

Jets,Steelers

If Chiefs can get a decent deal then they should be open to trading him.

I think Foles would be a great fit for the Steelers. I don't know how long Rapeburger is going to be out though.

I wonder how desperate the jets are now that they don't have a starting QB?

Let's be real here ... we aren't competing for a super bowl this year so we might as well trade Foles.

Sandy Vagina 10-19-2016 12:02 PM

I hope no is serious.

You don't think it wise to have a decent QB2 in place that knows the system, if Smith misses a game or three?

We aren't competing for a SB this year? wtf?

Mile High Mania 10-19-2016 12:03 PM

KC is one of only 7 teams in the AFC over .500 .... a bit too early to get the banners ready, eh?

sedated 10-19-2016 12:04 PM

Rapist will be back before Foles could learn half the Steeler's playbook. Jets are done.

The Franchise 10-19-2016 12:06 PM

So we should take the guy who stated that the reason he chose KC over everywhere else was because of Reid.....and trade him.

Great way to get FAs to sign here.

DaneMcCloud 10-19-2016 12:08 PM

If the Chiefs do trade Foles, it should be during next year's training camp, when they're not required to be Cap Compliant and another team is desperate.

And why aren't the Chiefs a possible Super Bowl team?

The only AFC team that's been better, consistently this season, is New England.

Foles is the perfect backup QB for a team looking to make a deep playoff run

Knows the system

Loves the head coach

Proven production as a starter

Brings a different skillset than the starter, defenses would have to adjust

Should anything happen to Smith, its hard to imagine anyone better stepping in to keep the train rolling

I get that many here think that the Chiefs are only interested in being just good enough to sell seats - and maybe that's true for Hunt, but I guarantee you, Reid believes he is competing for a super bowl and he thinks he has the QB to get him there. Reid was angling for Smith even at the absolute lowest point of Smith's career.

Ming the Merciless 10-19-2016 12:33 PM

It could be worth it if his value gets high enough. But we are in the midst of a playoff season , most likely...at least looking at wild card possibilities MAYBE division if Denver can't pull it together.

Problem is , we don't play Denver till the back 30% of the season....we play them twice in last 6 weeks. So unless the value is insanely high and some team gets desperate, I don't think we do this. Maybe if we lose a few in a row...

When is the deadline?

Why Not? 10-19-2016 12:33 PM

Steelers will win the shitty AFC North even while missing Ben for a month.

Jets going to evaluate Petty and Hackenburg or whoever.

pugsnotdrugs19 10-19-2016 12:35 PM

terrible idea.
