Guess who was named a Pro Bowl Alternate today?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash">#Chiefs</a> have 9 Pro Bowl alternates. Eric Fisher & Dee Ford headline the list, along w/ Alex, Poe, Houston, DJ, DJA, Santos & Colquitt.</p>— Terez A. <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Did like 20 other guys already decline the invite? The NFL is smoking the GOOD shit this holiday season. |
Ford, Houston and Colquitt I can see.
Fisher and Poe, I guess. Santos made it for nothing more than his bank shot Bronco killer field goal on SNF. DJ is a sentimental pick (although he was having an underrated year), and DJA is actually a special teams demon. Alex deserves it less than Cassel did when he made it in. Christ. |
Alex Smith? ROFL
The same Alex Smith who has 12 TDs and 6 INTs? That Alex Smith? ROFL |
The Pro Bowl is the new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.....

Yep.
The same Alex Smith that is 25th in yards, 28th in TD's, 26th in yards per game and 19th in yards per attempt. That guy. |
Reminds me of that time Cassel made it.

No one thought Cassel deserved it at the time, but his 2010 numbers make him look like Aaron Rodgers compared to Alex. |

So someone thinks a guy who throws for 213 yards and .85 TD's per game is worthy of the Pro Bowl over like 18-20 other guys. |
