We didn't have a thread on the Oscars, but did anyone just see that? Someone ****ed up, and they literally announced the WRONG MOVIE HAD WON BEST PICTURE. The Crew from La La Land gave their acceptance speech, then were informed that Moonlight had, in fact, won.

One of the most bizarre things I've ever seen live.

That was insane.

Pretty crazy. Waiting for the inevitable moronic conspiracy theory.

Apparently, they sent out the same envelope from the previous award for best actress, Emma Stone, LaLa Land.

At least Warren Beatty was smart enough to be confused. Faye Dunaway took one look at the card and immediately said "La La Land".

Bonnie & Clyde presented the Best Picture?

Arrival got ****ing robbed.

No sci-fi film has ever won Best Picture.

There's definitely a bias in the Academy, and it has absolutely nothing to do with not having enough black people nominated for acting awards.

He is off the hook now and gladly forgotten now since this occurred.

He's still a tool.
