Let me guess....

1. We liked his balance/yards after contact/ability in the passing game so we knew we had to trade up for him. He fumbled but we gave him the ball back and he showed us everything we knew we had in him.

2. Smith is our starter, there's no question about that, he's amazing blah blah, but this Mahomes kid is sure looking good and learning well.

3. You can't replace Eric Berry, but we've got a couple kids already on the roster we think will do a fine job and plenty of leadership in the locker room.

4. I loved my time in Philly so much, I owe everything to the Eagles organization and the team they've got right now is a really good team.

I've just listened to Reid's babbling non-answers for so long that I can recite them in my sleep.

Veach's interviews, by turn, have been fantastic.

Pretty much.

He did say that it seemed like Hunt was on TV every Thursday night last year and that he caught a few of his games. When Dorsey mentioned he really liked Hunt, Andy mentioned that he saw him on TV and liked what he saw.

Also said that Mahomes wants to know everything and asks a ton of questions. And that isn't something they knew when they drafted him.
