I have a Treasure Trove of old Chiefs games on VHS
I have them from 1985-1998.
Name a game & I probably have it. I’d like to have them put in YouTube so everyone can enjoy them. I’m not computer savvy at all. Is there a company that does that for you? I’d gladly donate the tapes if someone wants to do it. I know there are some amazing talented people who have made some great videos out there. What is the process? |

Best I can do.

There is a poster on here that did the same thing....C-Mac, I think? He had a ton of old games he converted to media that was open for anyone to watch, iirc.

VHS tapes as really seems like you are old school like I am. Bad news, I do not have a VCR anymore. They are sadly extinct.

Unless you have the complete Super Bowl IV game film then there is no treasure trove of Chiefs games.

I have used this. Their software is ok, but a computer hog.
Other software can be found and used. Play. Record. Leave. Cut out commercials. It is time consuming. Then you get to deal with copyright laws. Someone else can comment on that. I took all of our old camcorder videos and put them on video. |

I’m definitely old school. I recorded every Chiefs after I got my first vcr. The damn thing was bigger than my microwave oven & cost as much as a car. The blank tapes price were insane. I spent a lot of money on it. I’m glad that I chose VHS over Beta though. I think the very first Chiefs game I recorded was in 1978 on my Panasonic. |
I just threw out all my VHS tapes from Chiefs 02-04 full seasons. Was sad to see them go but they were just taking up space.
