Berry will save us!
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Watch Eric Berry furiously - and I mean FURIOUSLY - get the rest of his secondary lined up correctly on this play. It’s almost like, when he’s not on the field, they don’t know what they’re doing. <a href="https://t.co/DHB7ajOkI4">pic.twitter.com/DHB7ajOkI4</a></p>— Nate Bukaty (@nate_bukaty) <a href="https://twitter.com/nate_bukaty/status/1073572915659051008?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 14, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
It’s clear that Sutton is aids. The players have no idea where to line up. Luckily Berry knows. Just fire Sutton and make Berry a player coach |

Yeah can't wait to see him dominate next week for the 3 quarters he is allowed to play. Then watch helplessly as Russel Wilson leads two 95 yard TD drives in the 4th quarter to win the game. All while Andy looks dumbfoundedly at his play sheet an after the game says "it's on me, we'll get better"

ROFL That's about exactly the way it will play out, too..... |
Berry got beat on 1 play I remember, (this happens to all DB's).
But I remember Berry actually tackling some guys and bringing some attitude. Then he left the game and the defense stunk it up. |
We are all Eric Berry on that play.

He also caused a fumble on a tough hit that SD recovered.

Berry was all over the place.
His blitz forced the first interception. His tackling was solid, had a big tackle for a loss in the backfield. The team also seemed to carry a different mentality with him on the field. The difference with this team will come to whether or not we can force a fourth quarter stop in the playoffs. If Berry can be that one factor that tips away the Chargers 4th down pass on the last drive - or makes sure an assignment isn't blown, at least - this team can make it deep in the playoffs. |
