CHIEFS WEAR RED AND YELLOW

RED AND YELLOW IS ALSO MCDONALD'S COLORS

MCDONALD'S MASCOT IS A CLOWN

THAT MEANS CLOWNEY IS GOING TO BE A CHIEF!

eDave 03-15-2019 10:03 AM

LMAO

I agree with all of the above sentiments.

Trade for Clowney, sign Darby, draft Adderly.

Now we're in business.

Shut up, i'm dreaming.

jonzie04 03-15-2019 10:03 AM

Could we even afford to keep him if we traded for him? idk if the numbers pan out i'd be pretty stoked to have him. Clowney, Okafor, Darby, Honey Badger. That would be gaining 4 solid players while losing two.

Veach did just say yesterday that we have a 1st this year, next year, and 2 2nd rounders each year, and that will allow them to be aggressive throughout the offseason. So we definitely have the ammo to get him.

All that being said though is there actually any merit to this rumor?

Shit i'm right there with you. That would be a pretty incredible offseason.

The Chiefs free up franchise tag money by trading Dee Ford, an outside linebacker in a 3 - 4 because he doesn't have a place in the new scheme.

So, you think the Chiefs will trade for an outside linebacker that plays in a 3 - 4 that has been franchised by Houston. Which means, money saved by trading Ford is eaten up by Clowney.

I don't think so.

TEX 03-15-2019 10:06 AM

Do not want because he will be very expensive. Has played the past two seasons relatively healthy, but misses a lot of games and/or gets banged up a lot and his play suffers. He free lances also, and causes blown assignments way too often. He' s a very undisciplined player. The guy is somewhere in between a great player and a good one. Nowhere near what he was supposed to be, but he wants to get paid like he's a future HOF'er. He has never even had a double-digit sack season - which is hard to believe. He's also not a smart football player - like Dee Ford.

KCrockaholic 03-15-2019 10:06 AM

Where did this rumor come from?

The funny thing with Ford is he played in a 4-3 as DE in college. Not sure why it would've been a big deal to keep him as a DE. But anyways, Clowney can indeed play in a 4-3. Just not sure where the rumor came from.
