Thoughts on Austin Reiter?
“We have to fill in those [spots],” Reid said. “We were lucky enough to have Austin [Reiter] here to work some at center and did a nice job when he was in there and we got good competition at that spot, so I’m not worried about that.”

Well the numbers speak for themselves, but so did the fact that the offense may legitimately be center-proof.
Jordan Devey was really good at center for us as well, and he played an entire game against a decent Bengals DL with a torn pectoral. So what you need is a guy who'll play the position decently for basically no money, which is what we've got Reiter for. I think he's a good situation for us at this time. He should be a 16-game starter in 2019, unless Veach goes DJ's Left Nut caliber of stupid and drafts a center in the 1st round. |
He's trash

He's...good enough...good enough to make drafting a new starting C not a need for this year

I don't really think he's "good" but he will probably have to be the guy that does it for now.
Realistically, they need to have guys like this take some starter spots and not be a negative. |

he's slightly above average, also very strong - not super in space - but will give you an enema if you try to cow him up the middle.

Reiter is adequate enough to where that wouldn't be my priority if I were looking to upgrade on the Offensive Line.
Cam Erving had a score of 42.9, which is good for 75th rank. That's where I would focus and is something I've mentioned more than once with all the talk on Center. Erving sucks ass. |

I don't think he is starter worthy. I feel like he is a good backup, stopgap type of center for when Mitch Morse gets his yearly concussion/injury. Of course Mitch is gone... So I mean... he was serviceable during those few weeks but I don't think he is good enough over 16 weeks
