A class act guy on and off the field. What happened to him at the end of his career should have never happened and will always be a reason for me to despise the GM that shall never be named except in a curse.

What? He got old. It happens to every NFL player. Rarely can a player retire after a long, brilliant career while still being almost as effective and valuable of a contributor as he was in his prime.

Yeah, those Pro-Bowl appearances in both 2010 and 2011 were the tell he was washed up.
