“The next Mahomes” bullshit
 

This shit is getting out of hand. I mean FFS I get Pat is now THE prototype, but come on. I feel like 5 different guys have been talked about as “the next Mahomes”. Hopefully this is just offseason fodder and it doesn’t leak into the season.

There was a Mahomes before Mahomes. His name was Colin Kaepernick.

When the QB star everyone is hoping rookie QB’s can emulate is YOUR QB - it’s an amazing feeling.

Posts like this aren't doing a lot to debunk the perception that Raider fans are all inbred borderline reeruned ex convicts.

The entertainment will be watching less versed and talented QBs trying to pull off what Mahomes does, like going down to the local BB court and watching everyone thinking they were Jason Williams back in the day.

DBs may not like the idea of facing Mahomes, but they are drooling at the prospect of the league trying to copy him.

There wasn't ever a Mahomes before this Mahomes, so I don't expect we'll see the next one anytime soon.
