Chiefs Offense Will Be Impossibly Stacked With Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman

Here we go...prepare for dozens of these articles now that HE GOOD has spread to the mainstream.

If we've learned anything about the last 20 years of Andy Reid as a play caller, it's that he loves to chuck the ball downfield. If we've learned anything about Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and 2018 MVP Patrick Mahomes, it's that he has a howitzer for right arm and loves the go route.

Now that Tyreek Hill will no longer face legal charges in his child abuse case, it seems he will soon pair with equally speedy Georgia rookie Mecole Hardman out wide, the man once thought to be his immediate replacement.

Buckle up, folks. This is going to be fun.

With Travis Kelce now firmly the best tight end in the league, the trio of him, Hardman, and Hill presents the deepest group of skill position players in the gme. With Sammy Watkins also able to blow by corners out wide and Damian Williams a steady presence in the backfield, there is no glaring weakness in this offense, even without Chris Conley and Kareem Hunt.

Pair that with the evil genius that is Reid on the sidelines and a quarterback in Mahomes who can throw a ball 80 yards with the effortlessness of a javelin thrower, and you can expect a lot of prevent defenses against this group of stallions the Chiefs have.

While the defense will determine how far this team will go, Kansas City will have NO problem putting points on the board in the 2019 season, and will quickly regroup after receiving the likely news of Hill's return.

I gotta wonder who the Chiefs would've drafted if they had known for sure about Tyreek pre draft. But then again this offense is loaded with weapons now and it'll be unstoppable once again. Maybe even better.

Watkins year 2 in the system
Hill
Kelce
Hardman as the #4 receiver
Darwin Thompson/Damien Williams in the flat

If we stay healthy, I think Pat really could challenge his season last year. I think (barring injury) 40 TD’s is the bar.

I think they would have still taken Hardman. They need a replacement for Watkins, as they obviously don't intend to keep him for his expensive year next season.

I think you'll see Watkins take a new contract next year

But according to the media dumb****s- Mahomes will take a step back because we lost Hunt LAST year.

I have touched myself to this very thought on numerous occasions

Not very high on Hardman as a #1 or #2. He's a shiny object, a fun thing for a coach to have. He's just a straight line speed guy. He ran limited routes in college as well.

The only thing he is elite at athletically is straight line speed in the 40. That isn't always football speed. Average vertical for a 1st or 2nd round WR, and he didn't want to run agility tests at the combine should tell you something. A short WR received should ALWAYS want to do the agility tests unless they know their results wont be advantageous.

But as a #3 or #4 he's damn good. Still wish we would not have wasted a 1st rd draft pick on him, though.

Wow 2 of the dumbest posts of 2019 within 10 mins?

Hardman has elite speed AND agility. He’s still learning to play the position. It’s still relatively new to him. Get a ****ing clue.

Also, he wasn’t a 1st round pick idiot.

staylor26 06-07-2019 02:19 PM

And questioning his football speed?

Have you ever seen the ****ing guy play?

Good grief.
