Dude should be suspended permanently

Amnorix 09-30-2019 07:42 AM

He's a headhunter who plays with an intent to injure. A lengthy suspension or permanent ban is definitely appropriate for him. Dirtiest player in the game and I can't think of anyone who even comes close.

jjchieffan 09-30-2019 07:45 AM

I hate having this headhunter in our division where we have to face him twice a year. I don't recall any dirty hits by him when we played the Raiders week 2, but he showed yesterday that he's still the same dirty player

Hope he's suspended 8 games and keeps him out through the Chiefs game on Dec. 1.

Him smiling and blowing kisses to the crowd after getting ejected shows he doesn't give a single F, even after all the other suspensions/fines.

Yet the Patriot that killed Allen straight to his head gets nothing.

Real fair.

It’s time for a permanent suspension. It’s the only punishment that will get through to players like him.

Jonathan Jones. He was a piece of shit at Auburn too. Stood there over Allen after his dirty hit like a doucher.

Or at the very least, tack on the number of games the injured player has to miss to whatever the original suspension.

Yeah, that's a joke. There's a taller QB with 50 pounds on you heading your way. You're just short of the sticks on 3rd down and need to stop him. What do you do if you're Jones?

Who lowers his helmet here, Jones or Allen? Does Allen slide or do anything to suggest he's not trying to get more yards? Does Jones launch? Does Jones try to get his shoulder in there, or is he using his helmet as a weapon?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">This angle shows why Jonathan Jones avoided an ejection. Trying to establish shoulder contact, neither lowered his helmet nor launched into Allen, and Allen is running forward with his helmet down. Perhaps an unnecessary hit, but Allen invited contact with the way he ran here. <a href="https://t.co/eB2lKWZt7D">pic.twitter.com/eB2lKWZt7D</a></p>&mdash; Matt Dolloff (@mattdolloff) <a href="https://twitter.com/mattdolloff/status/1178427799947878405?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 29, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

He needs a year suspension this time. A 4 game "vacation" each of the last 3 years, 2 for hits and one for PED's. The 4 gamers are just keeping his legs fresh for the end of the season. Maybe a year-long vacation will get his attention.

I disagree with nothing that was said here, but the NE hit on Allen was worse.

I understand where you're coming from, but the position of the NFL is you get your head off to the side and keep your eyes up, hit him with your shoulder.

The hell of it is that you can do the same shit with Burfict. You could roll a slow motion GIF up there, break it down and ask, what is he supposed to do?Burfict didn't even hit the guy with his helmet.

Now I understand that Burfict has a long history of ****ery and I have no problem with him getting jacked then suspended. But the point remains that the hit on Allen was worse. And the NE guy got nothing, except a penalty, which was magically offset.
