He would return 3 punts and 3 kickoffs to score in his Browns days. He ran back 2 more kickoffs as a Redskins WR, a Hall of Famer.

I Think I'm A Prick

Over the course of this week I've been reflecting on my behaviors and overall general attitude and emotional well being over the last few months. It's clearly declining, certainly here, and I don't like it. Not to sound like a faerie, but this site was a great find for me and has been a big part of my life for quite some time. I've made IRL friends here, I made online friends and, like it or not, you guys (and Ladies) are a part of my life. I've taken that for granted.

So this thread is not to make David feel better or anything. Rather it is to let everyone know that I recognize this and am changing course toward the David that used to be and the David I want to be.

But not before I offer apologies to anyone I may have crossed. I know there's a few.

Being this thread is about running back, give me the fastest RB to ever play in the NFL (won't count Bob Hayes, he was a WR in the pros) And won't count Trindon Holliday, he was just a kick returner in the pros, which was a big mistake.

While in college he was the only NFL RB (to be) who was ever world ranked at 100m.

Ram RB Ollie Matson was world ranked at 400m, an Olympic medal will do that.

Texas A&M's Curtis Dickey is the fastest NFL RB ever, he has ran a 10.10.

BUT...the fastest RB ever was a HS kid named Houston McTear out of Baker HS in Florida. As a junior he ran a 9.0 for yards to tie the WR. Averaged over 13 yards a carry, and here he is.

I still bang the drum for James Brooks. I think he's hugely underrated in NFL history.

Among non-Chiefs, James Brooks and Kenny Easley were two guys that I thought didn't get the credit they deserved. I was delighted to see Easley go into the Hall of Fame. He was the best strong safety the NFL has ever seen.

Kenny was Easley nominated to go into the HOF.
