Yes, I'm gonna start a thread about it. No, **** a "random FA news" megathread. You can have one if you want, but I hope to see lots of people start individual threads for each Chiefs FA news bit that comes up. Even if it's small.

Was never a Xavier fan. I even went back and watched him play after he came back from injury and didn't see anything that jumped out at me even a little. Maybe by releasing him it brings us a bit closer to keeping either Jones or Pennel.

Yep I wanted him to succeed being local talent and all , but he never really showed much that I seen . Pennel on the other hand is a stud, he turned are run defense around and he’s a must sign by all means.

Decent depth piece, but not much more than that. They interviewed him a few times on the radio and he seemed like a really good dude. Happy he got a ring.

solid backup I guess, not much of a loss. Pretty excited to see what Saunders does in his 2nd season and it would be nice to bring Pennel back.
