It was just made official today. Probably means the $ will show up in cap figures now. Chiefs have been slow playing the signings because that cap is tight...

The odd thing is that his contract was already showing up on spotrac and overthecap. Which was contributing to both websites showing the chiefs as over the cap. He got 70 grand guaranteed.

Just guessing, he is probably not in the top 51 salaries, correct?

Yeah. He's got a bigger salary than shurmur by the guaranteed amount. Id imagine they will be fighting for a spot on the practice squad though. But with expanded rosters maybe Reid keeps 3 and just leaves one inactive on game days.
