Generally speaking, Pete Sweeney is a sharp dude and rarely shoots off the hip at these things. He is also pretty connected at 1 Arrowhead Drive.

Currently, he sees the competition boiling down to Remmers v. Wylie, with Remmers winning out.

Pretty interesting, if Remmers takes the job, look at these other OL we have that he got the gig over:

Andrew Wylie
Martinas Rankin
Lucas Niang
Nick Allegretti
To say nothing of two outstanding UDFA prospects in Yasir Durant and Darryl Williams, and Ryan Hunter, who has seen (horrific) snaps at guard.

I wonder what he’s seen or heard that lead him to this conclusion.

Wylie is going to have to battle to make the roster, getting benched for a street FA will do that.

Was signed shortly after we cut Cam Erving, many assumed he’d be our new swing tackle.

Has started 10 games, I think, across three seasons with the Giants.

Hes trash so is Wylie hopefully its Niang and Rankins

Rankin was very good when he played guard this year. Hopefully he's healthy.

Also, it would be great if Allegretti could be capable of being a solid backup at least.
