Would we be going for title number 3 in a row if Hunt wasnt released?

For Pitt Gorilla.

Hunt looks amazing like he did at times last year and his whole time as a Chief.

However William's I believe set some records for post season touchdowns.

Discuss.

Let it go, man.

I’m not one of those bitches who whine about Hunt being released, but yes, I find it hard to believe they wouldn’t have won SB 53 with him on the roster.

ThaVirus 09-17-2020 09:46 PM

Wouldn't he have been suspended or on the exempt list during the 2018 postseason run?

staylor26 09-17-2020 09:46 PM

How many times does it have to be explained that Hunt wasn’t playing again in 2018 whether we released him or not?

Rasputin 09-17-2020 09:47 PM

Our offense put up 31 points in the second half to force overtime against Patriots in AFC championship.

**** you Dee Ford.

smithandrew051 09-17-2020 09:48 PM

The real question is would we be worse in the long-run if we won 53?

I’m not sure Veach would’ve had the balls to overhaul that defense nor do I think Reid would’ve fired Sutton. Hell, we might’ve even extended Ford.

Also, Kareem screwed Kareem. Don’t be a ****ing idiot and things tend to work out better in life.

Every day for Billay's alcohol induced dementia.

This board's obsession with Kareem Hunt is ****ing weird. You'd think we hadn't done anything without him.

comochiefsfan 09-17-2020 09:50 PM

Would they have won if the video didn’t exist?

Yes.

Does it matter now?

No.

I miss Kareem as much as anybody. His style of play has always been really fun to watch for me. But he’s gone. We won the super bowl without him. We have a guy now who is younger, cheaper and potentially a better fit for what Andy is trying to do.

We’re defending super bowl champions. The era of “what if” and “woe is me” for this fanbase needs to end.

It was his first offense bruh

FloridaMan88 09-17-2020 09:51 PM

Only if he had kicked Bob Sutton rather than the chick.

Pretty good point :thumb:. Butterfly effect.

I think the primary person to blame for us failing to win a title in 2018 was Bob Sutton. Right behind him, though, is Brett Veach.

He failed to sign or draft or trade for a single defensive playmaker. If he had, maybe the Chiefs can stop a runny nose in the AFCCG and we win the game.

Dee Ford is probably third.

But Bob Sutton is clearly the #1 culprit.
