Pick your SB ending! Brady or Mahomes?

This was a question on 610 all week.

Which QB scenario would you prefer to end the Super Bowl?

Chiefs are up by 6 - Bucs get the ball at the 25 with a minute and a half with 1 Timeout.

Brady Vs. the Chiefs Defense for the win.

Chiefs are down by 6 - Chiefs get the ball at the 25 with a minute and a half with 1 Timeout.

Mahomes Vs. the Bucs Defense for the win.

Seems like the easy choice- but-- Tom Brady had the exact situation against the Eagles in the SB and choked. Strip sack fumble for the loss.

Having the lead is a Huge advantage with only 1:30 on the clock. Our defense has been money in these situations this year.

Brady in his prime couldn’t do what Mahomes can now. And Mahomes is a good 3-4 years from reaching his prime, which is a really scary thought for the rest of the NFL.

That said, Brady is a hell of a QB. 1:30 left and giving him the ball? I believe our defense is good and getting better but I wouldn’t want to give Brady the ball with that much time. It isn’t that I don’t trust our defense as much as I absolutely trust Mahomes and 1:30 is an eternity for him. Keep in mind he had 30 some seconds with 1 timeout, down by 3, in the 2018 AFCCG and he got us the field goal. An extra minute? He’d get us the TD. Look at the second Raiders game this year.

I'm taking our defense should Brady have the ball that late in the game.

I predict PAIN for Tom Brady

The chiefs will win the superbowl again Sunday, and again next year. Then things will be rearranged on the team and I think they will still be the best team So I may be adding more Roman Numerals to my sig.

Honestly, I'd be fine with either.

I predict a happy ending , in every sense.

I'd rather not let the pedophile have the ball with a chance to win. He may be old as dirt, but that bastard has a unicorn up his ass

Mahomes is the best player in the game. I ALWAYS want that player on the field with the game on the line. I mean how many game winners have LeBron and MJ made? Mahomes is that level.

All it takes is 1 BS defensive penalty to save a drive. Almost all of the rules favor the offense, so it only makes sense to want this offense on the field.

Pasta Little Brioni 02-06-2021 08:02 AM

Brady would get multiple drive extending penalties and I don't think this board can handle that. Tampa had the most this year, NE had the most drive extending penalties BY FAR in his career there. This year NE got jack shit as far as keeping drives alive calls. Give me the Mahomes option.

Yes but that unicorn may be replaced by Chris Jones’ dick tomorrow!

I'm sure there's plenty of room for both ;)

This is why it's imperative to be up by more than one score late in the 4th. I do believe that if the scenario for Brady was the case, it would mean that the Chiefs had just taken the lead, and we've seen our defense step the **** up in those situations. I think the Chiefs win in either scenario though.
