This can be fun since we have Mahomes and don't have to worry about this anymore. But I still love QB's and watching the best ones transition to the NFL.

No Mond or Trask, I don't draft guys I don't think could start.

Mac Jones might go top 10 in the first, let alone the 2nd.

Gonna be crazy for sure.

And I wouldn't put Fields ahead of Lawrence. I wouldn't put Fields ahead of Jones actually but we'll see.

Fields is a tough evaluation. I really disliked him through the process but have to admit there are things he could do in the right system.

His landing spot matters.

So does Lawrence. We already know where he is going and it bad, bad, bad. Bevell and Urban are a awful match.

I just want to say how nice it is to not have to look at the QBs getting drafted up high and not be a team that is missing out on one of them.

I just can't get the Goff comp out of my head on Trevor.

How does Trevor Lawrence compare to Jared Goff

Well, Lawrence is taller and more athletic.

I think style of play. Goff was the #1 overall pick and Lawrence will be the #1 overall pick.

Both can make nice plays with a clean pocket. Both don't do as well under duress or pressure.

Of course Goff had McVay. Lawrence will have worse coaching.

I really don’t give a shit about anyone outside of the 1sr rd mocked players but yeah I’m spot on with you on those guys.

I really don’t want Denver getting Lance bc I like him and Denver has a good enough OL and weapons for him to play well early.

From what I'm seeing, the 49ers talk is either Jones or Field. There's like zero discussion of Lance at all.

Agree 100%. Isn't it beautiful?

I pay absolutely ZERO attention to QBs in the draft now, whereas prior to Mahomes I'd obsess over every little detail concerning them.

I am hearing the 49ers and Falcons scouting staffs are in love with Lance.

And that the Redskins are interested as well.

Speaking of Lance, he’s built like a brick house at nearly 6-foot-4 and 224 pounds and he’s still growing into his body. He has the biggest arm in the draft and can make throws on the run. He would give Shanahan an excellent deep-ball thrower he hasn’t had with Garoppolo.

He also set an NCAA record for most passes thrown in a season, 287, without throwing an interception. He runs like Cam Newton, with many examples of bowling through arm tackles from defensive linemen and linebackers. And he’s easy to project because he played in a pro-style offense with the similar skeleton to what he’d run under Shanahan.
