I have seen enough to say Jones is not good enough and a bust. Wash defense will eat him alive and Wash has a better QB in Heinicke.

Looking at this Thursday Night Football schedule and how bad teams generally play in Thursday games...this looks pretty brutal.

Week 2: Giants at Washington Football Team
Week 3: Panthers at Texans
Week 4: Bengals at Jaguars
Week 5: Rams at Seahawks
Week 6: Buccaneers at Eagles
Week 7: Broncos at Browns
Week 8: Packers at Cardinals
Week 9: Jets at Colts
Week 10: Ravens at Dolphins
Week 11: Patriots at Falcons
Week 12: Bills at Saints
Week 13: Cowboys at Saints
Week 14: Steelers at Vikings
Week 15: Chiefs at Chargers
Week 16: 49ers at Titans

The only plus to this game is I have the Washington defense on my fantasy team. Should do well this week.

It’s generally this way every year. I guess the NFL has decided to not put big matchups on Thursday nights. For competitive reasons i imagine? But people still watch anyways.

That’s a pretty brutal lineup. Only a few of those games are worth watching.

I’m guessing the thought on putting this matchup here is that’s two bad teams make a more competitive game than one good and one bad team.
