Another new idea for playoffs
(cant leave well enough alone)
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">This is interesting: The NFL is tinkering with its Super Wild Card Weekend format, I’m told, likely to have it conclude on a Monday night. This means two games Saturday, three games Sunday… and one Monday with a broadcast partner to be determined. Fun change.</p>— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1441210332559462401?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 24, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
This team won’t sniff the playoffs.

No. I mean sure.
NFL, man. |
The Monday game winner gets screwed then having to play in their next playoff game on a short week.
|
Your 8-9 Broncos meet the 9-7-1 Dolphins on a high stakes Monday night wildcard matchup!!

Terrible idea
Move it to Friday instead Nobody likes to stay up on a Monday night late |

I love to watch football on a school night. Probably dates back to having to go to bed at halftime on MNF when I was a kid. Scarred me for life. Being able to stay up past my bedtime every night is the best thing about being an adult. |
Short rest in the playoffs. Great idea, NFL. Sounds "fun".
|
If it makes money, count on it happening.
|
I want less teams in the playoffs
|
The #1 seeds should get the Monday wildcard winners.

NFL will definitely review CP to get a pulse on our opinions prior to acting on this.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday playoffs weekend in Vegas?
Pinch me. I’ve already done a few Saturday/Sunday playoff weekends and it was a BLAST. Fans from every team, hanging out, cheering, losing their shit along with their mortgage payments. |
