The Chiefs have the hardest* schedule in the NFL from here out
* Based on the (admittedly flawed) metric of our remaining opponents' current win percentage.
Here's the list for the AFC: Code:
Chiefs 65% https://media.giphy.com/media/OCu7zWojqFA1W/giphy.gif |
Also, we have no opponents remaining on the schedule with a losing record. That will probably change - the Broncos are sure to drop a few before we play them - but still.
|
I imagine we've had just about the toughest schedule to this point. It's crazy.

Maybe this schedule will toughen up the Chiefs. If they survive, they could be better for it.

DVOA has schedule strength from toughest to easiest as:
CAR WAS ATL LAR CIN CHI GB BAL ARI KC LV NYJ SEA DET SF JAX CLE NYG DEN MIN PIT NE IND DAL NO LAC PHI TEN BUF HOU TB MIA |
Our Chiefs will lay waste to the strongest knights that our enemies can send, and their severed heads and limbs will litter the field of battle long after our heroes retire to their castles to celebrate with mead and wenches.

Its ok.
I think the Green Bay and Dallas Games are the real tough ones remaining. I think we will make hay within the division. |
I went through every week...there will be a lot of AFC divisional cannibalism towards the end of the season.
The NFL set it up nicely....especially the AFC North. AFC South has the NFC West... KC drew the Doinks week 18...while Vegas plays LA. As sketchy as KC has been...they really are two mistakes away from 6-2 playing the hardest opening schedule... |

Each division is predictably close together.... then there's the Chiefs and the rest of the AFCW.
|
They've had the league's toughest schedule pretty much every season since 2016. Difference is, the Chiefs are no longer better than everyone else. I never cared about the schedule in recent years because having KC on a schedule was everyone else's problem.
