OP didn't read the article. They're basically selling conversion kits and put it in this model of truck.

Looks neat. I’ll stick with electric F-150 though.

Nice!

They are selling the kits and not the vehicle but, per the article, the thing is a concept (ie prototype) vehicle. No telling if they will ever sell it or not but it is what I said it was.

Yeah.

This is a SEMA show truck. My friend was telling me about it yesterday. I haven't read anything on it but they're trying to sell these electric motors IIRC. That's the real highlight here and the entire point of building this.

No, lol they will never sell it. This truck was built for SEMA as a custom one-off to demonstrate to resto-mod shops that they are producing these electric motors for restomod applications.

This truck is to show shops like mine that they now produce these motors and they want to sell them to us for custom builds.

You shut your whore mouth.

That's from when a pickup was a mans tool. And it was beautiful.

Pitt Gorilla 11-03-2021 01:23 PM

That was my dad's truck (without the electric motor) and it was awesome.

ghak99 11-03-2021 07:42 PM

I was initially impressed with the price, and even possibly interested in the option for a future project, but if you get to digging into it you're going to have to spend a shit load of money on top of the motor to make it work.

I much prefer the older style to the new shit. Old was simple and clean. New is trying to figure out how many odd angles they can throw in the lines of the body to make it look "tough" while adding a dual tailgate so you can hike your dress up and not fall when stepping on the pull out ladder.
