Next Gen Stats: Mahomes bad luck INT’s
 

What we’ve all seen and assumed this season with the multiple tipped pass INT’s supported by Next Gen Stats. In reality Mahomes only has 5 INT’s that are legit his fault this season to-date.

There have been a lot of balls that should have been picked as well that he lucked out on, this is dumb.

Which is normal for every QB every season. What is NOT normal is the above information.

He’s always lived on the edge. He’s had multiple balls in years past that should have been INTs. It’s just evened out this year.

Yep. I don't think people want to believe how much luck there is in sports, or bad luck in this case. I think he's been kind of lucky the last couple of years with the amount of interceptions hes' thrown, but not to a large degree. This year it's just tons of bad luck. Things will hopefully normalize, but they don't have to. Just because it's been black on the roulette wheel 5 times in a row doesn't mean it's going to be red the next time.
