What should Veach accomplish this offseason?
 

Obviously we will try to keep OBJ and Ingram. Clark and Hitchens are probably gone.
I want Matheiu gone but I’m not sure Spags will let Veach do that. That will be interesting.

I think our #1 need has to be another receiving weapon. Mahomes went through slumps and a big part of that was the shit from Robinson and Pringle. They just aren’t good enough when Kelce and Reek are double covered.

We need to start a youth movement at DL, secondary and WR. Kelce, Jones, Ingram and Matheiu (whether he stays or goes) are starting to get old.

Basically WR, pass rush and secondary. I want Veach to attack those areas hard.

Yeah, agree. This offense has been able to get by without a true #2 WR the last few years, but the time has come. We need a young ballhawk at safety, and someone that could get consistent pressure at DE would be nice.

Clark and Hitchens gone.

Probably Mathieu too.

I expect them to retain Orlando Brown.

Sign a legit scary #2 WR and our offense will be fire again. Draft one too.

Sign a few cheap veteran safeties that can play.

Get cheap ringchasers to augment pass rush.

DE x 2, WR, 2CB, UDFA RB

I want...

1) a mid round RB
2) a LEGIT #2 FA receiver who can step right in

Then spend every. last. available. resource. on this defense... watching these upstart Bengals do that has pushed me waaay off into the abyss

Fix the DL. 29th in the league in sacks. Pat was truly terrible from the final play of the first half on. The DL was just as bad against one of the worst OL in the league.

Find a quarterback that knows the ball needs thrown to the end zone and how many timeouts the team has.
