Commerce City is so weird it is like back in the day when you would make a Sim City and right outside of that city you would put a stadium and a bunch of industruial stuff in its own spot.

I largely avoid live news. I don't see any need to dwell on every horrible thing that happens in the world.

The wife and I have not watched or listened to a news broadcast in over 17 years. The funny thing is, we still learn of the important things and don't get fixated on all the bad around us. It seemed hard and odd at first, now I can't imagine wasting my time on it.

Russia has their army poised to invade the Ukraine just so you'll know something that's going on in the news.

Canada is under martial law.

I haven't watched the whole local news in decades. I'll watch the weather portion for the snow/ice forecast in Missouri or hurricane paths down here.

Are you referring to Denver? If so, that's an odd take. Denver's about average for major cities in terms of murder rates, while KC is #6 in the nation.
