Overtime changes coming?
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/n...on-per-report/
I think that would be a good idea, I am tired of the complaining that the other team never got a chance to get the ball |
It would be an improvement.
I don't like OT only being 10 minutes. |
Only caveat I can think of if it becomes a shoot out in the playoffs and the team has to play the next week they're gonna be gassed.

Hope the Chiefs vote no. **** the rest of the league now that they want it.

The Bills had 13 seconds. If any team had a complaint about the OT rules, it's not them.

We realize you weren't around after the AFCCG against the Patriots and don't understand sarcasm. |

OT is perfect the way it is. |
Change the rules or not some team will feel they get hosed no matter what they do for overtime.
Just make it a ten or 15 minute quarter the winner of coil flip can decide who gets the ball other team can decide what end zone to defend or refer. Both teams can score all they can before clock is 00:00 . The team with most points obviously wins. |

I bet in the immediate aftermath enough bitched to make a mockery of saying most didn't. |

For instance, given that the NFL has moved towards favoring offense, not having the first FG be sudden death is reasonable. The issue with a full 10 or 15 minute OT is, if it is still tied you don't really want to have to play a second or third OT. |

If they go with each team gets a possession then both team scores a touchdown , when does it end if both teams keep scoring a touchdown or keep it tied after the clock hits 00:00? There is never going be a fair way so just leave it the way it is and I agree with The Franchise. We purposed change & NFL said **** you Chiefs so we say **** you NFL. |
