Chiefs Right Tackle Dave Hill Passes?
 

KCTV 5 in KC reported it this evening, can't find anything on the web yet. He was Len Dawson's right tackle in Super Bowl IV. 81 years old. He's also in the Chiefs Hall of Honor.

Damn, we could have used him...

Always liked the guy.

He was the GM of the auto auction in Lee's Summit back in the day. I worked there when I was just out of high school.

Rudnay was the better center but Holub was the clubhouse holler guy. Quite a character.

I just caught the end of that ERA as my Chiefs fandom began in 1970. We had an incredible team on both sides of the ball.

I loved the D more but I also used to love Jack Rudnay and Ed Budde

Hill was a fine left tackle known to take any measure to protect Lenny's backside. Holding tripping tackling no one was gonna touch The Cool.

I can still hear the announcer at old Municipal "Holding Dave Hill."
