Car-nal Desires: Round 1, Heat 19
We have 84 entries in the tournament, and we'll collectively narrow the list down to the one Chiefsplanet dream car.
PICK TWO FROM EACH LIST ON THE POLL. 1989 Lamborghini Countach Anniversary Edition https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/show...77&postcount=2 68 LeMans convertible with very rare (for a LeMans) dual gate automatic shifter (Not the vehicle in the pictures - it's just a description) https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/show...6&postcount=37 1967 Mustang Restomod "Obsidian" https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/show...3&postcount=32 Dodge Demon 340 from 1972 (Scroll down past the first quoted pictures.) https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/show...&postcount=130 Recall the rules below. (Rule #5 was modified slightly from the nomination thread.) 1. This vehicle will be yours at no purchase cost. 2. You will keep your current vehicles, so no need to worry about fitting a baby seat in it or being able to haul mulch. 3. You're responsible for parking it. 4. You pay for gas or electricity. 5. Insurance and maintenance up to $3,000 per month is free to you. You cover the next $1,000 if the expenses are higher, and then after that the expenses are covered. So for a high-end vehicle you'll cover a max of $1,000 per month. 6. The vehicle must be street-legal. 7. The vehicle must actually exist. It cannot be a cartoon or concept drawing. However, it can be a production vehicle, a concept vehicle, a custom vehicle, or anything else that is real. 8. The vehicle being nominated is the exact vehicle shown. You cannot change the color, the interior, the engine size, etc. 9. You cannot use the vehicle to make money. It's only for your personal use. 10. You cannot sell the vehicle. 11. Any type of street-legal vehicle is allowed. You can nominate a car, a truck, a minivan, an RV, a semi-truck, a motorcyle, a classic car, a school bus, whatever. As long as it meets the rules above, it's eligible. |
Lambo and the GTO. I've always loved that old style Lambo.

Okay, first off, the Lamborghini's going to get my vote because look at it. Look at that piece of art on wheels.
After that, I'm not wild about any of the others. I like the Mustang, but that's too much horsepower. I don't want or need that much horsepower. I would easily pick a classic original 1967 Mustang as my second pick, but those are more manageable on the road. I'm not really into the other two, but looking at them I'll take the convertible. I like convertibles. |
Gotta take the Mustang. That thing is sinister.
|
The Lamborghini is a pile, but it’s my winner here. The mustang is a close second.
|
Oh wow - that Mustang is sexy as hell.
|
Hey, that '68 LeMans was yellow with a black top and interior. My first car and I still miss it after nearly 40 years.

The Lamborghini is supposed to be one of the worst cars ever to actually drive, but it looks so good I have to pick it. After that... the LeMans, I guess? |

I'm going with the Lambo and the LeMans. I'm a big fan of 60s GM cars. Lots of muscle and yet stable enough to feel like you weren't going to fly of the road. The Mustang has just too much hp for that light of car.
