So post-June 1 is some weird thing. Does that mean that he cannot sign with another team until after June 1, even though he knows he's gone?

I'm pretty sure he's free to sign somewhere else, but the team will not get the full cap relief until 6/1.

Anyone who is better versed on the cap shenanigans feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
