Best of the West: Receivers

Obviously the AFC West has been on a talent hunt. Let’s see where things stand at the end of March. Take off your homer hat and pick the best receiver group (WR and TEs). Poll to come. I've listed the several on depth chart for convenience (with unsigned FA marked with a *), but feel free to consider as much depth as you want.

Awfully one sided so far

RunKC 03-20-2022 02:28 PM

1. Chiefs
2. Raiders
3. Chargers
4. Broncos

Why Not? 03-20-2022 02:28 PM

1. Chiefs
2. Raiders but it's close over
3. The Chargers
4. and a distant 4th, the Donks

I made the vote for the Raiders (ducks) based on Renfrow > Smith-Shuster or Hardman. I estimated that (Adams+Waller) is close enough to (Hill+Kelce) -- ducks again -- that the #2 WR in terms of production would decide. It's very close either way.

San Diego a bit behind and Denver has a lot to prove, albeit they will get their chance with Wilson.

1. KC
2. Vegas
3. LAC
4. Denver

More of a testament to how skilled the division is, I think even Denver isn't awful receiving wise but every other team in the division has proven and more talented options.

Should include Hamler for Denver. They have a high ceiling.

Personally if Pat was in Denver I'd put them at no 1 though. That team is built to adapt to the QB at hand. They knew what they were doing the last 2 years...

Only if Waller is healthy. If Waller is healthy again, it's Raiders. If not, Chiefs. I honestly don't quite trust Waller right now.

Though it doesn't matter as much with Adams and Renfrow. Edwards is a really nice 3rd WR. Better than KCs 3rd.

Fair enough. I listed players with significant 2021 production without digging into injuries and such. But as stated, the listed players are for convenience, and everyone is free to consider other players.

I'm glad they dealt Fant. That is at least one weapon that Wilson won't have.

We're short a WR, DRob is a FA.

Worried a bit about Waller as he seems to be turning into a Diva. hope I am wrong but don't know how his ego is gonna take splitting the spotlight next year...

Yep, Poll Fail DRob is not a Chief. Hardman is though.

Raiders have a nice trio.

Denver definitely last
