Jake Parker - Gehrig Dieter 2.0?

So who is Jake Parker you ask? He was a groomsmen for Patrick Mahomes and just so happens to be a WR in this year's draft. He's been best friends with Mahomes since elementary school.

He played at Howard Payne, a D3 school, but completely dominated there. In 2020 he led the entire nation with 754 receiving yards, but only played 5 games. This year he led his conference in yds (1113), ypg (111.9), rec (52), and tds (15, 13 of those are receiving)

So he played scrubs, but dominated them and has big play ability. Averaged 21.5 ypc last season. He's 6'1" 200 pounds. His pro day is today, so we can see his 40 time.

So everyone get to know our new practice squad pro! Jake Parker. I can see him drafted in the 7th or UDFA.

To the ship!

He played at Texas Tech but then quit to go work.

Parker graduated from Whitehouse in 2014 and spent time playing at TJC and Texas Tech, before deciding to work in the oil field.

He quit college to go work on the oil field? Then went back to school and was d3 dynasty? This guy has fan favorite written all over it.

I'd have advocated for this if he would have ran a sub 4.4 40.

If he ran a legit 4.52 I’ll eat a whistle.

Why is it so unbelievable that he'd run a 4.52? That's not blazing speed and he was good enough to go to Texas Tech.
