Question around Selling Season Tickets
I recently became a Season Ticket holder, as I wanted to be guaranteed playoff tickets at reasonable prices. I live out of state, and for sure won't be coming to all 10 games. After I paid for everything I got a call from Chiefs account rep and said ... FYI you have to attend 50% of games or we can take your tickets away :cuss: I am fine with that policy, but pretty shady timing on their part.
Here is my question - I have friends and family in Missouri. Do people know if you need actual ticket on phone or do they just scan QR or Barcode? If I just texted my cousin a screenshot of the tickets in my app - Does that work? Thanks for anyone who can answer :thumb: |
That's an empty threat. I sell over 50% of my tickets on Stubhub every year. They don't care.

Screenshots don’t work. Has to be an e-ticket on your phone. No idea about the threat. I would think if you transfer tickets you’re fine. But, if you list/sell on NFL Ticket Exchange, maybe they track?

FWIW my brother has two seats and ended up selling some playoff tickets one year. He tried to get two more seats for the 2020 season and was told he couldn't because they suspected him of scalping. :/

it's been years since i had season ticks, so i guess my question is, how the hell do they know whos going to the games?

If you transfer them privately there is nothing they can do. But if you sell it through Stub Hub or something they may take notice. |
I had a buddy sell most of his season tickets one year and Mark Donovan personally Henry Ruggsed him right in the parking lot so I’d be weary.

It happened to broncos fans a few years back. The Chiefs can do that now as they have no problem selling all their tickets. I think the Chiefs will go after STH who never attend a game and sell all their tickets online for a profit.
I'm not sure a pic of the barcode will work. Seems if you're emailing your tickets then you have to have that person except said tickets via their account on ticket master. Also, be aware that the tax man now wants a percentage of those tickets sold on ticket sites. Best to sell cash to people you know. |
The LV Raiders still send out hard copies every year in the STH package.
I think the Chiefs haven't done that in a decade plus? |
What kind of silly shit is that?
Do you have high visibility seats - like front row or first ten rows of once of the bowls? Maybe they are trying to keep it from people selling their seats in those areas so it won't look bad on TV when there are so many opposing fans on the broadcast? |

They track the relist sites... If you sell them privately you are fine.

Thanks for info - I hope to attend at least 3 games during regular season and then playoff games. I am not trying to profit, just wanted to be STH and get Playoff game tickets easily.
I will not be driving 8 hours for Pre-Season ;-p |

90% of STH here who post their tickets for REGULAR season games HERE have them gone pretty quickly. If your family doesn't use or buy all of them, the good fellas here at CP will oblige. Roughly where are they? |
